GOP Women Pay Respects on One-Year Anniversary of October 7th

Monday marked the one-year anniversary of Hamas’ atrocious terrorist attacks in Israel, the bloodiest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Republican women from across the nation paid their respects to the Jewish people and recommitted their support for our greatest ally Israel.

Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) stated –

“Exactly one year ago today, the Jewish people experienced the bloodiest day since the Holocaust as Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists committed unspeakable atrocities against humanity, savagely murdering 1,200 innocent Israelis and taking 251 hostages. Tragically 97 remain captive today including 4 Americans. Today and always, my heart breaks for their families, many who I’ve personally met.

It has never been more important to support our most precious ally in its fight for survival and for the world to know this is not Israel’s fight alone.

In response to the heinous atrocities of October 7th, we have also seen the ancient hatred of antisemitism infect once ‘elite’ higher education institutions and spread across American society emboldened by the moral equivocation of a failed Biden-Harris Administration and the radical pro-Hamas Democrat Party. This antisemitic rot has embedded itself into a now biased international community and United Nations which rewards barbaric Iranian terrorists while punishing Israel for defending itself.

From exposing the moral rot within American universities in the congressional hearing heard around the world, to demanding the United Nations be held accountable, I am proud to help lead the fight against antisemitism and anti-Israel hate in the halls of Congress and around the world. I was honored to deliver an address at the Israeli Knesset this past May to emphasize House Republicans and President Trump’s unwavering support for Israel in their greatest time of need as well as our commitment to fighting antisemitism at home and abroad. As a senior member of the House Armed Services and the House Intelligence Committee, I have worked with my Republican colleagues to pass critical pieces of legislation providing needed military aid to support Israel and counter the dangerous and reckless anti-Israel policies of the Biden-Harris Administration.

But we know our work is far from over.

As Israel continues to face an onslaught of attacks from Iran and their proxies, we must acknowledge that the foreign policy of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden has failed to stand by Israel, instead empowering adversaries like Iran through sanction relief, and a slow-walking of critical military aid passed by House Republicans. The world cannot afford four more years of Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party’s foreign policy of appeasement to Iran. We must reimpose President Trump’s maximum pressure campaign against Iran, support Israel, and bring home the hostages who have suffered for far too long.”

“Today marks one year since Hamas’s brutal attack on Israel. Hamas unleashed terror on innocent civilians at a music festival, in their homes, and on the streets as they committed heinous acts of violence against the Israeli people.

We must never forget the tragedy of this attack and the lives lost at the hands of pure evil. Today and every day, we stand with Israel’s right to exist and defend itself against the threats that surround it.”

Caroleene Dobson (Candidate for AL-02) stated –

"Today marks one year since israelis suffered unspeakable violence and terror as hamas terrorists committed the bloodiest genocide against the jewish people since the holocaust.

Since the massacre, and as israel faces continued attacks from iran and its proxies, it is troubling to witness the rise of anti-israel rhetoric and growing calls for an unconditional ceasefire-even as 97 innocent hostages, including 4 americans, remain in captivity.

It is clear who the true enemy is in this fight, and I stand with israel as it defends its survival."

POLLING UPDATE: Mayra Flores Race for TX-34 in Dead Heat

This week, the NRCC published the results of a poll conducted by 1892 Polling which showed Mayra Flores’ race “a toss-up that is trending Republican.” While Flores is gaining support “by every measurable indicator,” the incumbent Democrat Gonzales continues to lose momentum. More importantly, the undecided voters lean Republican and are voting for Trump 61-12%. In “a stunning reversal from 2020,” President Trump has a 55% approval rating in the district.

NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar stated –

“South Texas is no longer the Democrat stronghold it used to be, and with less than a month to go, Mayra Flores is poised to flip this seat for Republicans.”
