Irving, TX - I recently joined my colleagues in continuing to push back against Mexico’s disregard for the rule of law and mistreatment of Vulcan Materials Company. I will not stand for threats against U.S. companies or the illegal seizure of their property and facilities. You can read more by clicking here.

I had a great time with the Irving Police Department at National Night Out. I loved having the opportunity to spend some time with those who consistently go above and beyond for our community.

I recently attended Children’s Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center for a groundbreaking of their new Dallas pediatric campus. This partnership marks a new era of transformative pediatric care in North Texas and I was grateful to be a part of it.

I enjoyed speaking with students from the Young Lion Business Academy at Grapevine Faith Christian Academy. It was inspiring to meet with these engaging young leaders.

Recently, I met with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition at our district office to discuss the importance of strengthening our national security through strong leadership on the world stage.

I had so much fun joining Girl Scouts at Old Union Elementary School in Southlake! It was great seeing how engaged and excited they were to talk about everything from the upcoming presidential election to a typical day in the life of a congresswoman!

My alma mater, Cornell University, has experienced a rise in antisemitism over the last year, with one student threatening to kill Jewish students.

I hosted a roundtable discussion with Jewish students and faculty to discuss the threats they've faced and my work in Congress to force colleges to deliver on their obligation to provide a public good.

I also had the opportunity to stand in solidarity with Jewish students at a vigil commemorating the one year anniversary of the October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks.

Wishing all those who observe Yom Kippur a blessed day. G'mar chatimah tovah!

Texas-24 Work of the Week

We have an obligation to ensure only legal American citizens are voting in our elections. This week, I joined my colleagues in supporting Texas' request to obtain necessary citizenship data from USCIS to verify our voter rolls ahead of the November 5th election.

Texas-24 Hometown Hero

This week’s Texas-24 Hometown Hero is Texans on Mission. After disastrous hurricanes hit our nation, North Texans have stepped up to serve others by providing practical help, including cleaning out homes, serving meals, and delivering essential supplies to those displaced by the storm.

Congressional Veteran Commendation

Applications for our office’s Congressional Veteran Commendations are now due next week! Through this program, we honor the distinguished veterans of Texas-24 and preserve their stories for future generations of Americans. Nominate a hero today.
