It’s Childcare Week of Action—an important time to recognize the lack of affordable, accessible childcare for American families and recommit to lowering costs for parents, expanding opportunities for kids, and increasing wages for early educators.
Childcare is a critical piece of our American infrastructure, yet it is financially out of reach for too many with 55% of families going into debt to pay for services. Without access to quality, affordable childcare services our kids cannot learn, our families cannot thrive, and our economy cannot grow. I remain committed to supporting families everywhere by making universal childcare a reality.
