Early Voting is Open – Let’s Keep the Momentum Going!

John,

First, we want to remind everyone that early voting has begun. We encourage
everyone to take advantage of early voting and to take friends and family with
you. Early voting allows you to avoid long lines on election day, bank your
vote early, and make sure your vote counts! Please consider taking advantage of
early voting BEFORE election day!

We are in the thick of election season and I want to thank everyone for the
incredible work you've done so far. Thanks to your efforts, we've made over
170,000 voter contacts through door knocking and an additional 100,000 through
phone banking. This is a major achievement, but our work isn’t finished yet.

We’re holding Super Saturday events every weekend until Election Day to keep
the momentum going. Every door we knock on and every conversation we have will
help us turn out Republican voters across Indiana.

Additionally, our Bus Tour will be hitting the road every Saturday until the
election starting October 19th, showcasing our candidates and energizing
voters. Stay tuned for more details and check out the schedulehere

Now is the time to give that final push. Let’s channel all of our energy into
getting Republicans to the polls. Together, we’ll ensure Indiana remains strong
for conservative values.

Thank you all for what you do!

Mike Braun’s Public Safety Plan!

Below are highlights from the Freedom and Opportunity Agenda - For Ensuring
Hoosier' Safety.

1) Confront the Drug Crisis

* Hoosier families have been devastated by the flow of illegal drugs like
fentanyl and methamphetamine into their communities. In addition to harming our
families, drug-related incidents have overrun the State’s public health and
safety resources.
* Mike Braun's plan will prioritize a collaborative drug interdiction
approach that fully utilizes the expertise and resources of the Indiana State
Police and local law enforcement and prosecutors.

2) Enforce our Laws

* Our law enforcement officers put their life on the line every day to
protect Hoosiers. After our officers make arrests, prosecutors are
best-equipped to enforce the law when they have the resources they need to hire
high-quality deputies, and when the bail system works to keep dangerous
criminals off the street.
* Mike Braun's plan will ensure Indiana’s criminal justice system supports
the work of our law enforcement efforts and make sure our prosecutors are
equipped to enforce the law to the fullest.

3) Tackle illegal immigration

* Under the Biden-Harris Administration, enforcement at the southern border
has deteriorated, empowering an overwhelming number of illegal immigrants to
cross into the country.
* Mike Braun's plan will provide the support necessary to communities
struggling with illegal immigration by ensuring Indiana has no sanctuary
policies and stand ready to assist if and when the federal government seeks
assistance in safeguarding Hoosiers.

4) Support our Police

* Every day, our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to
protect Hoosiers.
* Mike Braun's plan will champion policies that enhance training, benefits,
and salaries to improve morale, retention, and recruitment of law enforcement
officers across the state.

5) Treat Mental Health with Seriousness

* Hoosiers are encountering a mental health crisis that not only impacts
their loved ones, but also strains public safety resources that now serve asde
facto treatment centers for those in need.
* Mike Braun's plan will invest in local treatment facilities so that those
in mental crisis receive the care they need without placing an added burden on
law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

6) Prioritize school safety

* Currently, Indiana’s school safety authorities are fragmented across
different agencies. As modern threats continue to grow in complexity, the State
must ensure that local communities and schools are supported so that no aspect
of school safety falls through the cracks.
* Mike Braun's plan will establish the Office of School Safety to streamline
resources that are spread across many agencies and ensure that every school is
able to protect our children.

Mike Braun issued the following statement upon releasing his plan to ensure
Hoosiers' Safety:

“Every Hoosier deserves to feel safe in their community, and to achieve that
we need to support our police with the training and resources they need,
confront the drug crisis head on, enforce the law so criminals don’t end up
back on the street due to prosecutors refusing to do their jobs, tackle illegal
immigration bringing fentanyl and crime to our streets like the attack we saw
on a young girl in northwest Indiana, and take action to give our schools what
they need to keep kids safe.” – Mike Braun
