As a member of the House Small Business Committee, Dwight prioritizes expanding opportunities for working Americans at any chance.
Just recently, he sent a letter to urge the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide regulatory guidance on cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp-based products to make sure American farmers and entrepreneurs are able to capitalize on this rapidly growing industry.
As demand for these products continues to grow, small business owners, farmers, and local communities deserve a share of the cut, too. The fact remains: we need federal agencies to unlock potential and reduce barriers to ensure small businesses can grow in an industry that's rapidly evolving.
