FEMA Receipts šŸ¤Ø

Itā€™s time to bring some much-needed transparency to how FEMA is managing
disaster relief funds.

After Hurricane Helene and now Milton, Iā€™ve made it clear: we need answers.
Despite FEMA runninglow on funds <[link removed]>,
weā€™re not seeing the accountability we should be. They keep throwing billions
aroundwithout showing us
<[link removed]>
where the money is actually going. In light of these dadgum travesties, we
need to pop the hood and take a real look insideā€”just like a mechanic
wouldā€”because somethingā€™s not right under there, and weā€™ve got to fix it.

On top of that, Congress is all too comfortable not reading the bills they
vote on
<[link removed]>
. Letā€™s face it: you canā€™t make informed decisions without actually knowing
whatā€™s in the spending bills. Itā€™s basic common sense, and itā€™s high time our
legislators took the responsibility seriously. We owe it to the American people
to stop rubber-stamping bloated bills filled with wasteful spending.

Thatā€™s why Iā€™ve been pushing for funding to go directly to the states
<[link removed]>
, so local leaders can decide whatā€™s best for their communities. Why should we
rely on bureaucrats in Washington when state governments know their needs
better than anyone?

So, hereā€™s where I stand on the matter:

* FEMA Accountability: Every dollar FEMA spends must be accounted for, with
detailed receipts showing how disaster relief is truly helping our communities.
* Legislators Reading Bills: Congress needs to stop passing spending bills
without knowing whatā€™s in them. No more blind votes.
* State-Controlled Funding: States should have the power to allocate disaster
relief funds as they see fit, not Washington bureaucrats.
Iā€™m here to represent you, and I wonā€™t stand by while Washington keeps wasting
your hard-earned money. Itā€™s time for real accountability and common sense in
government.
