Subject: Hurricane Milton Update:
BREAKING: Thousands of National Guard and active duty service members responding to Hurricane Milton need our support. |
Last night, Hurricane Milton struck Florida as a Category 3 storm, bringing with it a massive storm surge, catastrophic tornadoes and devastating flooding.
While the worst of the damage is still being assessed and this is a rapidly developing situation, we know many of the affected communities were still recovering from Hurricane Helene less than two weeks ago, making this storm’s impact even worse.
Thousands of National Guard members are still working to help communities recover from Hurricane Helene. Now, thousands more are being deployed to Florida from all over the country to conduct search and rescue missions, clear debris and provide lifesaving aid to communities in urgent need.
RUSH AN EMERGENCY DONATION |
The USO is the only nonprofit organization that goes wherever our service members do — from communities devastated by hurricanes, wildfires and other disasters across the United States to conflict zones around the world.
Right now, our teams are actively working to assess the needs of service members in Florida — including National Guard members deployed in response to this emergency and military families stationed in the affected communities. We’re ready to do whatever it takes to support them, from providing water and basic hygiene items to making sure they have the ability to connect with their loved ones.
Your support makes all that and more possible, so please: Will you rush $29 or more now to help reach our $50,000 rapid-response goal by midnight so we can support all of our heroes, including those responding to this emergency?
RUSH AN EMERGENCY DONATION |
We’ll continue to keep you updated as this ongoing situation develops — for now, thank you for helping the USO be there for service members and their families when they need us most.
