A challenge is something you choose and suffering is something that chooses you. It’s forced upon you. It’s not a choice that you make.
You always have a choice in your response with both a challenge and with suffering.
The first time I saw Sam was when he was in the ICU and he was wrapped head to toe in bandages. I was his dietitian in the burn unit during his recovery. One of the things that struck me about him was that he had joy.
He wasn’t bitter, he wasn’t angry. He was just filled with joy, he wanted to get better, he wanted to persevere, and he wanted to make a difference. He wanted to get back to his unit and redeploy with his soldiers.
Sam’s West Point motto is “Never Falter, Never Quit” and through our 15 years of marriage I’ve seen him embody that motto. He’s taken it to heart and there is not a sacrifice too great for the mission that he’s been called to.
After Sam was medically retired, he went back to school, got a job working in a warehouse to support our young family, and started a business helping other veterans.
But I believe Sam was called to serve in a new way and face his greatest challenge yet, running for the U.S. Senate.
Nevadans are suffering right now. I see how expensive everything is and people are really struggling right now just to make ends meet.
We’re facing a big challenge in America today, but we have a choice. We can keep the old leaders who are failing us, or we can elect new leaders like Sam Brown who are ready to change our country.
I’ve seen Sam go to Hell and back for his country, for his family, and for his comrades. That’s why I know he will do whatever it takes to restore hope and turn our country around.
Friend, I’m so proud of my husband but he needs your help. He can’t fight this battle alone.
This campaign is expensive. Costs are piling up each day.
Could you please make a generous donation to fuel Sam’s Senate campaign through the final stretch? You could be the final donor who makes the difference and helps Sam restore our country.
Thank you for your time and support.
