At Climate Week NYC, Audubon hosted a panel about responsible offshore wind development in the U.S. Panelists discussed how offshore wind can be deployed in ways that are informed by science and community input in coordination with relevant agencies. With the right technology, offshore wind is a solvable problem for birds, but the status quo of living with the climate crisis is not.
