John, I know you probably didn't wake up this morning and say, "I'm going to chip in $3 to be split between the Democratic Governors Association and Sherrod's reelection campaign in Ohio!"

By choosing JD Vance as his running mate and directly attacking me on Truth Social, Donald Trump has made it crystal clear that he's after Ohio – and he'll do everything he can to retake control of the White House, the Senate and governors’ offices across the country.

Even worse, political experts say I'm one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot in the race that will decide Senate control.

There's no sugarcoating it: I'm in the fight of my life to defend Ohioans from the GOP's attacks on our freedoms and our democracy. And I am not the only one. In competitive gubernatorial races like North Carolina and New Hampshire’s, Democrats are fighting to ensure those states are protected from extremists who want to roll back our rights – but we can’t do any of it without your help.
