Last week on the vice presidential debate stage, JD Vance voiced his support for a "minimum national standard" on abortion rights.

It's an intentionally vague anti-choice dog whistle and a favorite phrase of Vance's, which is why we've been setting the record straight on this statement for months — in fact, we first emailed you about it in July, and you can see that message below!

Let's be clear, John: a "minimum national standard" IS a national abortion ban.
