John,

We are wraping up the week with another Candidate Spotlight! This week we want to highlight Dan Bishop, Candidate for North Carolina Attorney General.

Dan Bishop, a seasoned conservative legislator, is making a bid for the position of Attorney General. With a career rooted in both law and public service, Bishop brings extensive experience, legal expertise, and a staunch commitment to conservative values.

Bishop is currently serving as a U.S. Representative for North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District, a position he's held since 2019. Prior to his role in Congress, he served in the North Carolina General Assembly, first as a member of the State House and later the State Senate. Bishop is a practicing attorney, having earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. His expansive legal carreer gives him the foundational experience needed for the top legal office in the state.

As Attorney General, Bishop has pledged to bring a firm, law-and-order approach to the office. He intends to prioritize cracking down on violent crime, strengthening enforcement against illegal immigration, and protecting the rights of North Carolinians from federal overreach.

Dan Bishop is a strong candidate with a clear platform focused on public safety, constitutional rights, and conservative principles. His blend of legal experience, legislative accomplishments, and strong ideological convictions positions him as a leading contender in the race for North Carolina Attorney General.
