It has now been 2 weeks since the devastation of Hurricane Helene, and many communities throughout Georgia are still impacted and struggling. Heartbeat Law Reinstated!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been covering the aftermath of partisan Judge McBurney overturning the Heartbeat Law, Frontline’s key legislative victory. This past Monday, Georgia's Heartbeat law has officially been reinstated!

As of 5:00 PM on Monday, Oct 7th, the Heartbeat law is back in effect, and no abortions can be legally performed if the doctor detects fetal cardiac activity.

This means that babies will continue to be saved from abortion while Attorney General Carr fights this unconstitutional order from Radical Judge McBurney.

Here is a quote from the Attorney General’s appeal to the Supreme Court to reinstate the Heartbeat Law and overturn McBurney’s order:

"As before, every day that illegal abortions continue is another day that the lives of tiny, unique individuals are ended,” AG Carr wrote. “There are toddlers alive today because this Court stayed the superior court’s previous order.”

Frontline President Cole Muzio responded to the news below:

We join Cole in thanking AG Carr [[link removed][0]=AZWNhATJCzHMvr6sI_vWM63YQqCf1mIxXPeOGgIDXGhf1AxuAuue1sPMewmNu4BQzOR68V9NMnyJ5t63yivgqygw_9NzqoQiZdIZKuKB454CtiW32i7f0TV0IFchFhMfngygx4cN4jV01raoetlPF-D3_HYoqsO96oon0gRP1YXUmJwmJSQg_02bBzJVJiwAmMM&__tn__=-]K-R] for his swift action in appealing Judge McBurney’s ruling, which will save many lives as the challenge goes forward!

President Trump and Governor Kemp in Evans, GA

In a display of unity, former President Donald Trump and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp joined forces last week in Evans, Georgia, spotlighting their cooperation in the wake of Hurricane Helene. This public appearance marks their first joint event of the 2024 campaign, especially significant as we approach the election.

In Trump’s remarks at the event, he praised Kemp's leadership and effective leadership during the crisis. Governor Kemp, in his remarks, stated, “I want to thank President Trump for coming back to our state a second time … and keeping the national focus on our state as we recover.”
