Throughout my career, I've worked hard to be honest and fair, because I believe that honesty is the best policy. Unfortunately, many of our leaders today have failed to take the same approach, and we’ve seen a lot of corruption in Congress. For far too long, our political system has served special interests, not the people, and I’m ready to change that.

My opponent for this seat, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, has shown complete disregard for the trust placed in her by the people of Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn. While I support a ban on stock trading for members of Congress, Nicole bought lucrative stocks amidst the Signature Bank collapse, after she’d been discussing the closure in Congress. 

The contrast couldn’t be clearer, and I’m ready to take a strong stand against this type of corruption. I’ll take a firm stance on issues of transparency and accountability, and I’m committed to working tirelessly to ensure that we get shady money out of politics.
