For 70 years, my grandmother attended Bright Hope Baptist Church in Philadelphia. I don’t get to talk about my faith often, but seeing her attend church became a part of my identity and is why I decided to be a public servant.

But Bright Hope is more than just a name. It’s how I approach my everyday life, and how I’ll lead as the next senator from Delaware. Because even though Delaware may be a smaller state, we get big things done.

Bright Hope means safeguarding our democracy, boosting our economy and lowering costs, and protecting our kids from gun violence.
