On the anniversary of the October 7th attacks in Israel, I am reminded of Israel's strength and resolve as they continue to fight for their survival. With Kamala Harris and Joe Biden in charge, the world senses weakness. We have war in Ukraine, Chinese aggression around Taiwan, and Iran fueling hate against the Jewish people. We must cut the head off the snake of the world's largest state sponsor of terror, Iran. Make no mistake, I will always stand with Israel. We must show strength and courage on the world stage because a stronger America means a safer Oklahoma.

Time and time again, the Harris-Biden administration continues to try and force their party's radical Green New Deal down Oklahomans' throats. I joined a bicameral amicus brief with 30 GOP colleagues to put a stop to this by requesting that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit uphold the April 2024 decision that found that Congress did not grant the Federal Highway Administration the authority to issue a ruling. This ruling requires state departments of transportation and metropolitan planning organizations to measure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on the highway system and set declining targets for those GHG emissions. Under Harris and Biden, 66 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Oklahomans, like all Americans, are feeling the pain of Washington’s out of control spending, high energy costs, and inflation on levels that we haven't seen in 40 years. That's why I'm fighting each and every day to counteract the left's policies that have a chokehold on your paychecks. We can't afford four more years of this.

Football just means more in Oklahoma, and over the weekend, there was no shortage of team pride in Guthrie.

On Friday, I had the privilege of flying into Guthrie High School's Homecoming game to hand off the game ball. Guthrie put up an impressive performance in their 41-14 victory over Noble, and having a Black Hawk touchdown on campus was definitely a highlight of the night.

Saturday, I attended the University of Tulsa's home game against Army. Though Tulsa came up short, both teams fought tooth and nail with Tulsa putting up an impressive first quarter fight. Army is undefeated after their first five games for the first time since 1945! Of course, they were undefeated off the football field in 1945 as well.

I want Oklahomans to know that I am closely monitoring the situation regarding the arrest of Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, an Afghan national recently arrested by the FBI in Oklahoma City. Your safety is incredibly important to me and I commend the efforts of state and federal law enforcement in their apprehension and their work in this ongoing investigation.

Union and blue collar workers are waking up across the country uniting against Democratic governance. I joined Fox Business this week to discuss the harmful decisions of Biden and Harris and how it affects the support for their administration's policies. Watch my comments here.
