Yesterday in Detroit, Donald Trump said: “The whole country is going to be like, you want to know the truth? It’ll be like Detroit. Our whole country will end up being like Detroit. You’re going to have a mess on your hands.”

Trump called Detroit a mess to Detroiters. We agree with Governor Gretchen Whitmer: Keep Detroit out of your mouth, Trump!

Trump has no idea what it’s like to have grit, to work hard, or to create a community like Detroit has done. Detroit’s economy is booming thanks to the hardworking people of the city who have put their time and effort into making Detroit the city it is today.

Michiganders know how to come together and get the job done. That’s exactly what the Michigan Democratic Party is doing across all 83 counties so we can keep Trump out of Detroit and Michigan FOR GOOD.
