One of the most rewarding aspects of my role as a Member of Congress is helping to nominate impressive young people from Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District to attend our nation’s service academies.

Recently, our office hosted our annual service academy information night in Elk River. During the event, students and their families had the chance to hear directly from representatives of the service academies about life on campus, the application and nomination process, and were available to answer questions.

Our service academies produce some of the best and brightest young men and women who go on to serve in our armed forces, and we are proud to play a small role in supporting their journey to become future military leaders.
