Hey JOhn,

As our next President said quoting her Indian mother, “You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.”

When we launched this campaign last year, I shared the context of my Virginia story starting with my Indian mother immigrating here through Dulles Airport.

I grew up here. This district is my home. I got married here. My kids were born here. I am personally invested in this community because Virginia raised me and the issues our community faces affects my family.

I will continue to be a champion for families here and make sure everyone has a voice in Congress, but I need your support to get there.

Please, give $10, $20, or any amount towards our voter mobilization efforts to protect and expand our rights so all Virginia families can thrive.

JOhn,

My story begins right here — in Loudoun County — in 1979.

A few years before I was born, my mother, a native of Bengaluru, India, immigrated to the United States to unite with my father and pursue a career in medicine.

My mom came through Dulles Airport — our family’s “Ellis Island.”

My parents taught me early on how important serving your community is. And at every stage of my life, I’ve felt called to action.

I attended college in New Orleans — and when Hurricane Katrina hit, I helped organize volunteers on campus to rebuild.

A few years later, I worked with the Center for Wrongful Convictions to free a man wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for 21 years.

On Capitol Hill, as a policy aide, I helped craft the DREAM Act and the Affordable Care Act and build coalitions in support of these critical bills. And I went on to serve as a policy advisor to President Obama in the White House.

In Richmond, I’ve:

✔️Taken on Big Pharma and fought for prescription drug price transparency.
✔️ Stopped predatory utility rate and toll increases.
✔️ Protected abortion rights and fought gun violence.

With so much on the line in 2024, If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s this: I’ll always put our community first and never stop fighting for us.

So, if you’re with me, consider making a contribution to my campaign today.
