Would-Be Afghan Terrorist Worked as CIA Guard
Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, an Afghan man arrested for planning a terrorist attack on
Election Day in the U.S., previously worked as a security guard for the CIA in
Afghanistan.
Authorities are investigating whether Tawhedi was radicalized before or after
arriving in the U.S. in 2021 following the chaotic U.S. military withdrawal
from Afghanistan.
Tawhedi had passed two rounds of vetting for humanitarian parole and a
Special Immigrant Visa, but concerns remain about gaps in the screening process
for Afghan evacuees.
Tawhedi and a juvenile co-conspirator were arrested after attempting to
purchase firearms and ammunition from undercover agents for the planned attack,
which he confirmed was intended to kill Americans. Read More.

New Yorkers Push Back Against Dem Senator's Nazi Comparison in Bid to Cancel
Trump Rally
Democratic state Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal called for the cancellation of
Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden, comparing it to a Nazi rally,
which sparked outrage.
Critics, including New York GOP and Trump campaign members, condemned
Hoylman-Sigal's comments, labeling them dangerous rhetoric that could incite
violence and threaten political freedom.
Hoylman-Sigal's remarks were particularly criticized for ignoring recent
anti-Semitic protests in the city, with some accusing him of hypocrisy for not
speaking out against actual hate groups.
Despite the senator's attempts, New Yorkers and political figures defended
Trump's right to hold the rally, emphasizing the importance of political
freedom and opposing censorship. Read More.

Tim Walz Accused of Suppressing Pension Fraud Probe
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz faced backlash from teachers over the state's
two-tiered pension system, which provides smaller retirement benefits to
teachers hired after 1989.
Teachers raised $75,000 to hire renowned fraud investigator Edward Siedle, who
uncovered evidence of systemic fraud and underreporting of fees in the state’s
pension fund.
Despite the findings, the Walz administration worked to suppress the
investigation, attempting to shield the pension system from scrutiny and
protect its reputation.
Siedle's report highlighted a lack of transparency, with Walz's
administration accused of prioritizing secrecy over addressing the teachers'
concerns about the mismanagement of pension funds.Read More.

Kamala Taps John Fetterman to Rally Blue-Collar Support in Battleground
Pennsylvania
Senator John Fetterman is playing a crucial role in Vice President Kamala
Harris’s 2024 campaign, aiming to counter Donald Trump’s growing support among
blue-collar voters in Pennsylvania.
Fetterman is targeting rural areas, where Trump performed strongly in previous
elections, with hopes of narrowing the gap in counties like Somerset where
Trump’s margin widened in 2020.
Harris’s campaign sees Fetterman’s populist appeal as key to connecting with
union voters and legacy Democrats, particularly in light of Trump’s significant
support among union households.
The Teamsters Union data shows Trump leading Harris by a two-to-one margin
among union voters, and the union has notably refrained from endorsing a
presidential candidate for the first time in 28 years. Read More.

Boris Johnson Defends Trump’s Russia Record, Shuts Down CNN's Jake Tapper
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson refuted claims of Donald Trump
being a Russian stooge during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, highlighting
Trump's strong stance against Russia during his presidency.
Johnson cited Trump's actions, such as expelling Russian spies and providing
Ukraine with Javelin missiles, as evidence of his tough approach to Russia.
Tapper attempted to bring up new allegations from Bob Woodward's book about
Trump’s communications with Putin, but Johnson shifted the conversation,
defending Trump's foreign policy record.
Johnson also expressed his belief that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine
if Trump had been president in 2022, leaving Tapper momentarily speechless.

What’s Next
Kamala’s campaign is in disarray.
Not only is she failing to run away from President Joe Biden’s disastrous
record, to which she is intrinsically bound, but she must also clean up after
her running mate.
On Thursday, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was silent on the issue of dissolving the
Electoral College despite enthusiastically supporting it just days earlier.
Walz’s comments alienate voters in the battleground states where he and Kamala
are currently begging for support.
In a statement issued to various legacy media outlets, a Harris campaign
spokesperson walked back the governor’s statements, saying, "Governor Walz
believes that every vote matters in the Electoral College and he is honored to
be traveling the country and battleground states working to earn support for
the Harris-Walz ticket.”
The Harris campaign is desperate for support from independents and the
nation’s remaining eleven undecided voters.
Harris and Walz have nothing to offer voters. After all, the public’s top
concerns heading into the election remain inflation and immigration.
Both members of the Democratic presidential ticket have utterly failed in both
these categories.
Harris played a lead role in forming the Biden White House’s economic and
immigration policies, and Walz embraced the multi-cultural unmaking of his home
state.
Both did so with gusto and glee.
Neither has a moderate bone in their body, and voters can clearly tell.
They will continue to walk back statements and flip-flop on policy, and no one
will hold them accountable.
They are dangerous cynics who will say anything to gain power.
Video of the Day
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer feeds a liberal podcaster a Dorito like
it’s the Eucharist in weird, head-scratching pro-Harris video.
