Dear John,
Phase 2 of the COVID-19 crisis, the “re-opening of America,” is well underway with businesses and churches looking to responsibly return to in-person meetings and services, including here at First Liberty.
Unfortunately, Governors in three states didn’t seem to get the memo, which forbids the government from burdening religious Americans by singling them out for oppressive restrictions that are not being imposed on others.
As I’ve said before, criminalizing religious gatherings is an outrageous overreach that stifles religious liberty and violates the First Amendment.
Watch this video for my latest updates on 3 new urgent matters that are unfolding right now as First Liberty doubles-down on our national efforts during this critical phase:
Over the past week, we’ve received a number of calls and emails from supporters like you offering inspiring words of encouragement and support. Every Monday, we read these letters to our staff to help lift them up, and I just want you to know how much we appreciate your kind words and how grateful we are to have supporters like you.
Clearly, we are continuing to make a historic impact for religious freedom right now in our country. But we couldn’t do it without you. Our 100% win-rate during this pandemic is only possible because we’re all in this together, ensuring our children and grandchildren inherit the freedoms upon which this country was built.
Gratefully, Kelly
