Dear John,
This is such a critical time for non-profit ministries like ours. We rely on support from Minnesotans like you who are being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and that’s making it hard for some to continue their support. If you are one of those less impacted, your generosity is as important as ever, precisely because the work we do to protect religious freedom is more important than ever.
Nationally there is an alarming number of situations that have caught our attention, and brought into focus the absolute necessity of ministries like ours that hold state and local governments accountable, fight for religious liberty and stand for the rights of parents, students, women and the unborn.
Across the country overzealous government leaders have been ignoring the constitution, targeting churches, intimidating Christians and threatening ordinary citizens. On a recent Sunday morning in Greenville, Mississippi, eight police officers swarmed the parking lot of Temple Baptist Church, issuing $500 citations to church members who were parked, with their doors closed and windows rolled up, listening to the church service on their car radios.
And there have been questions closer to home, as well. Will churches be able to legally reopen soon, or will we have to fight in the courts (and in the court of public opinion) for our First Amendment freedoms? If we do, we’ll need your support.
If the Lord has kept you in a stable financial position during this time, such that you are able to make a gift of $50, $100, or even more, as the Lord leads, we would be incredibly grateful. Your sacrificial giving will help us get through this crisis and make it possible for us to continue our work to protect life, family, and religious freedom.
We’re working hard even during this pandemic to protect life from abortionists who are flaunting prohibitions on essential surgeries, and protecting churches from government overreach that threatens their religious freedom - will you partner with us in this crucial work? Click below!
