Folks, there's been a lot of speculation about who I will be selecting to join me on the campaign trail, and hopefully in the White House, as my Vice President.

Now, we've only just started the Selection Committee process and no, I am not unveiling any hints here. We still have a lot of important discussions to be had.

But my promise to you is this: If I'm elected president, my Cabinet and my administration will reflect the diversity that makes our country strong. You have my word as a Biden.

And that starts with a running mate who will make history as the first woman to serve as Vice President.
