VE Day celebrations in Nottingham
________________________________________________________________________

*We might not be able to dance in the streets, hugging our friends and neighbours, like they did 75 years ago*, but organisations across the country have come together to provide a full day of live and virtual events, so you can mark this momentous day in British history from your own HOME front.

So get ready to deck the house with bunting, fill the windows with thank-you posters and hoist the Union flag as we transport you back to 8 May 1945.

Don't forget to take to social media with *#VEDay75* and *#Nottingham75* and tell us how you're celebrating from home.
