He made us proud. He drove home the stakes of this election and the threats Kari Lake poses — to women, to our families, and to our democracy.

Kari Lake came to last night’s debate with a whole lot of problems, and not many solutions.

She attacked our elections again — and would not admit that she or Donald Trump lost, fair and square.

She ran as far as she could from her record of extreme statements on abortion — like how she called a near-total ban imposed by a Civil War-era law “a great law,” and called abortion itself the “ultimate sin.”

And when she meant to say she’d defend in vitro fertilization she called it “UVF” three separate times. If she’s such an advocate for it, why couldn’t she remember what it was called?

Ruben laid out the facts. He brought solutions. And he made it clear that Arizona does not have to settle for the “MAGA Queen” as their Senator.

Kari Lake’s vision for America is dark. It’s dangerous. It’s out of step. But we can do something to stop her.
