John,
Anti-choice Republicans are trying to buy their way into power — spending millions to fund their own campaigns and control our bodies.
Here's how much a few of our opponents have spent in 2024 alone:
Sen. Rick Scott (FL) has a long history of buying his way into power: In 2010, he spent roughly $75 million of his own money to win his first term as governor of Florida. Scott made his fortune as the CEO of the largest for-profit health care group in the country.
Eric Hovde (WI-SEN) made millions as a banker, and now his brother is also making large contributions to his campaign. Hovde spends more time in California tending to his business interests than in Wisconsin, and he’s out-of-touch with the interests of Wisconsinites.
Paul Junge (MI-08) is a trust fund millionaire who lived outside of Michigan for more than 40 years. He's run for this seat twice already — spending millions of his family's money trying (and failing) to buy his way into Congress.
Rick Scott, Eric Hovde, and Paul Junge are deeply out of touch with the people they are running to represent. That's why we've endorsed Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-SEN), Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), and Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) to defeat them.
