The United States Postal Service (USPS) employs 600,000
Americans and provides an essential connection for millions who
rely on it daily to deliver vital goods -- including more than one
million life-saving medications last year alone.

That's why it's so outrageous that Trump is denying requests to
provide the emergency support the Postal Service needs to stay
afloat during and after the massive disruptions caused by
COVID-19. And we just learned that he is installing one of his
political donors as Postmaster General -- someone who will do his
bidding.

While happy to dole out emergency funds to the well-connected,
Trump is prepared to gut one of the nation's oldest and most
trusted institutions, just as more and more people throughout the
country are depending on it to get through the pandemic crisis.

Add your name to join me in demanding that Trump and
Congressional Republicans stop blocking critical relief to save
our postal service!

Trump has stated that he refuses to help USPS unless they raise
prices on companies owned by people he sees as political
opponents. It is just another example of Trump using the
government to advance his personal feuds and agenda at the
expense of the public interest.

If permitted, Trump would privatize our road systems, rail and
metro services and just tell people to 'pay more' regardless of
income.

And timing is everything here. The failure of the Postal Service at this moment would deal a heavy blow to ensuring viable VOTE-BY-MAIL options in the November elections.

Sign here to demand that Trump stop trying to destroy the Postal Service -- we must ensure that states can use a VOTE-BY-MAIL option in the upcoming elections!
