John, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, but when the going gets tough, I remind myself of what my parents taught me. To fight for what’s right, no matter the challenge.

I’m now facing one of the toughest fights of my life, and I need your support. Will you chip in $25 now to my campaign and Josh Shapiro?

My parents led by example, John. My mom was active in our community and founded and operated a Spanish language school. My dad was a civil rights lawyer who helped found North Carolina’s first integrated law firm. He and his partners never backed down, not even when someone firebombed their office and burned it to the ground.

They continued to fight and win landmark cases that helped fight discrimination, protect voting rights, and so much more.

My mom and dad’s dedication to serving others is one of the reasons why I’ve dedicated my career to fighting for North Carolina. From working as a consumer protection lawyer to serving as Attorney General, I’ve been honored to take on big fights for the people of North Carolina – and win.

At the end of the day, I’m running for Governor because, just like my parents, I believe that the fight for North Carolina’s future is worth it. If you’re with me, please chip in a split donation between my campaign and Josh Shapiro now.
