John,
Mark Robinson, the self-proclaimed Nazi and Republican candidate for Governor of NC, couldn’t be more of a nightmare to imagine running our State.
He is not one for the people. He is a conspiracist who spews racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, and downright disturbing rhetoric. Take a look at a fraction of what Robinson has said:
- "Some folks need killing"
- That Transgender women should be “arrested” for using women’s bathrooms and should "find a corner outside somewhere"
- “Whether you’re talking about Adolf Hitler, whether you’re talking about Chairman Mao, whether you’re talking about Stalin…it is time for us to get back and start reading some of those quotes”
- “Abortion in this country is not about protecting the lives of mothers. It’s about killing the child because you weren’t responsible enough to keep your skirt down.”
- “Homosexuality is STILL an abominable sin and I WILL NOT join in ‘celebrating gay pride’ nor will I fly their sacrilegious flag on my page” - after the Pulse nightclub shooting
- “This foolishness about Hitler disarming MILLIONS of Jews and then marching them off to concentration camps is a bunch of hogwash”
His violent rhetoric is not welcome in NC, and we have to make a stand against it in November.
