• Education: This year, we secured the largest single investment in K-12 public education in Pennsylvania’s history — $11 billion to improve our public schools and give every child the opportunities they deserve.
• Equal rights: House Democrats passed bills to expand protections for our LGBTQ+ neighbors and to prohibit discrimination based on hair type, texture, or style — ensuring fairness for all Pennsylvanians.
• Voting access: Joanna has spearheaded legislation to make voting more accessible by introducing early voting and same-day voter registration so that more voters in Pennsylvania have the opportunity to make their voices heard.

House Democrats’ record is a stark contrast to when Republicans were in power. When the GOP was in charge, they pushed a radical agenda that put our rights at risk. Republicans didn’t just fail to stand up for women’s reproductive health — they tried to throw out our votes in 2020! These are the same Republicans who want to roll back the progress we’ve made and take control of the State House again.
