DES is soliciting a new statewide contract for translation services – written word to succeed statewide contracts 04218 and 01618.
This solicitation is for translating written words or text and client letters from automated systems, from one language to another. Please complete our survey on your agency’s interest by Nov. 1.

Contract changes
DES lowers renewable diesel delivery fees and drops a fee
DES signed an amendment with PetroCard, a vendor on contract 08721 to lower the renewable diesel delivery fees in the Olympic region and drop fees in the Northwest 1 region. This went into effect Oct. 1.

DES extends Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (Esri) contract
DES extended contract 09121 for Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (Esri) until Sept. 30, 2026. Esri is limited to on-premises applications for software, data, web services, documentation, maintenance and support.

DES extends enterprise content management contract
DES extended contract 07814 for enterprise content management (ECM) until Oct. 26, 2026. ECM solutions offer reliable, scalable and easily applied methods to capture, store, retrieve and archive unstructured data.

Expiring survey and mapping equipment contract may lead to purchasing gap
Contract 02918 for survey and mapping equipment and supplies expires Nov. 30, so there will be a small gap in contract coverage. We encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.
We are in the process of developing a new contract. This solicitation will be put out for bid next week and we expect to award the contract in Jan. 2025.
Contract feedback
DES needs your input on NASPO facilities maintenance repair and operations and industrial supplies contract
DES is looking for purchasers and subject matter experts to share their feedback about awarding vendors on contract 19922 for facilities maintenance repair and operations (MRO). This is a cooperative contract from the master agreements that are executed and posted on NASPO ValuePoint for facilities MRO.
NASPO facilities MRO and industrial supplies contract awarded six contractors that can be considered for participating addenda on Washington’s contract.
Please complete the survey by Oct. 16 to help DES determine which contractors we should award in Washington.
