The Autumn Glory Parade is one of the highlights of our year! My wife April loves this parade. The parade floats are impressive and unique, and we love Western Maryland in the fall! The weather is supposed to be perfect.
The parade begins Saturday, October 12, at 1pm in downtown Oakland, MD. Look for us in the green shirts!
After the parade, from 2-4pm, I would love to have the chance to talk with you at the home of Buzz & Fannie Johnson in Oakland. This is a free meet-and-greet! Talk with me about your community. How can we work together? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let us know if you need the address!
From 7 to 9pm at night, please join us for Free Ice Cream and Hot Chocolate, at the Corn Maze on 596 Griffith Rd, in Accident, MD!
The corn maze theme this year is perfect : "Farmers, the Heart of America." Farmers enter the maze free during this event! We will be there from 7-9pm, hoping to talk with everyone about education, rural broadband, and the farming community!

Put out a Parrott yard sign, and look for places in your community where we could place a sign!
Vote early! If you can vote by mail, do it. You never know what will be happening in your world on Election Day. Early Voting begins in Maryland on October 24.
If you can chip in some money, we sure could use it. Commercials are expensive and help us to communicate with voters and to encourage people to vote!
