Waymakers Launches This Fall

Connecting our young people to quality employment opportunities isn’t just for the traditional college bound student or the traditional path. This month 20 Durham Public School students will begin Waymakers. Funded in part by AJF, Waymakers will provide students with the opportunity to graduate with a certificate in a skilled trade in electrical engineering, construction, maintenance, and more. It will also allow students to seek employment or continue their education at Durham Tech or a Four-Year College. Click the button for lessons one organization gleaned on a recent visit.
