Not only are we months into the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re almost halfway through a critical election year — yet most Americans don’t have access to no-excuse early voting.

We saw what happened during the Wisconsin primary election: Voters were forced to choose between their health or their vote, with fewer polling places and extremely long lines putting voters’ health and safety at risk.

We simply cannot allow that to happen here in Mississippi or the rest of the country.

That’s why I’m calling on Congress to pass nationwide no-excuse early voting, such as vote-by-mail, for all Americans: If you’re with me, add your name alongside mine now to build public pressure.
