Aloha,
This week — in support of those living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — I took the challenge to help raise awareness so we can finally find a cure for this devastating disease.
Click here to watch the whole video of me taking the Ice Bucket Challenge on my Facebook page!
ALS is a terminal neurodegenerative disorder that has taken too many wonderful people from us far too early — including baseball legend Lou Gehrig, physicist Stephen Hawking, as well as a close family friend of ours.
We care about patients living with ALS and their families — and we’re willing to get buckets of ice water dumped on us to help find a cure!
Find out more about the 10th Anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and the effort to find a cure.
Feel free to join us as we keep this challenge going on social media, and invite other governors and friends around the country to take the challenge.
Mahalo,
Josh
