John,

We’ve seen how extreme temperatures are threatening the lives and livelihoods of Oregonians and people across the nation. Let’s be clear: bold action is needed to address the devastating effects of climate chaos.

We’re working on it.

From the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, we are making historic investments in and progress on the environment. But, we have so much more to do! That’s why I’m continuing to fight against dangerous new fossil fuel projects that would lock us into decades more pollution, right environmental injustices, build a renewable energy future, and address plastic production and the pollution crisis. Let me tell you about all of these issues at OLCV’s Virtual Town Hall on the Environment.

Next week on Thursday, October 17th, I’ll update you on the ongoing fight for climate action in D.C. and answer your questions at the Virtual Town Hall. If you’d like to join us, register to receive the Zoom link and submit a question [[link removed]].
