NARAL Pro-Choice America recently changed its name to Reproductive Freedom for All. Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.
Hey John,
Do you remember the emergency abortion care case the Supreme Court ruled on earlier this year?
Anti-abortion extremists from Idaho were trying to argue that a 40-year-old federal law (the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act or EMTALA) that makes sure people can access the emergency medical care they need should not apply to emergency abortion care in states that have abortion bans in place—no matter the consequences to someone's health or life.
In June, the Supreme Court sent that case back to the lower courts—and we knew then that this issue was far from over.
This week, the Supreme Court once again refused to protect emergency abortion care, thus allowing Texas to continue blocking life-saving care it claims violates the state's abortion ban. Their failure to act continues to put the lives and health of countless people at risk.
We refuse to accept this. That's why we're organizing people across the country to talk to voters in Southern states like Texas and make sure they get out and vote for reproductive freedom.

I'M IN
We cannot and will not wait around for this Supreme Court to save us from anti-abortion extremists and their dangerous bans. We're going to have to do it ourselves.
