JOHN,

You know me—I’m never going to back a spending bill that makes things worse for the American people. Congress may not be throwing around huge spending packages right now, but we all know they’re coming, and the problem is still the same: wasteful spending jammed into bills that don’t address the real issues we face.

Look at FEMA—they’re running out of funds, and instead of focusing on getting the states the resources they need, Washington is continuing with the same reckless approach.

This is why I’ve been pushing hard for single-issue spending bills. Why should we allow unrelated and unnecessary spending to piggyback on important funding? We need to handle each issue individually, with transparency and accountability. JOHN, you have my word—I will never support a bill that adds more unnecessary debt on you, your family, and future generations.

Washington needs to get its priorities straight. If we don’t right our wrongs, the same problems will keep happening, and the American people will keep paying the price. I’m fighting to make sure your tax dollars go where they’re needed—not where politicians want them to go.
