Team,

In 2018, the American people elected more women to Congress than ever before, and flipped the U.S. House from red to blue. For the first time in history, the state of Iowa elected its first two women representatives to the House of Representatives: Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer.

Both Cindy and Abby went up against Republican incumbents, and with a groundswell of grassroots support from people like you, they won and made history.

Before becoming the second-youngest woman ever elected to the House, Abby Finkenauer was a member of the Iowa House. She’s worked hard to support universal healthcare, access to pre-K and affordable higher education, and more. Last time, Abby took on a millionaire GOP opponent in her race and proved that she’s the tough leader Eastern Iowans deserved.

Cindy Axne, a small business owner, community activist, and parent, has fought every day for affordable healthcare and quality public schools. As someone whose family has been on the receiving end of a letter from health insurance companies notifying them they’d no longer be covered, Cindy has stood strong in protecting the Affordable Care Act from Republican attacks.

I’m honored to work side-by-side with these two fearless women, but the GOP wants to take these two seats back. Both Abby and Cindy are hard at work advocating for their constituents during this crisis, and fundraising is tough for everyone right now. So I’m asking you, if you’re able, can you pitch in to keep our House majority and keep two fighters from Iowa in the House?

Help re-elect Cindy and Abby to Congress so we can keep these fierce Iowans in office and defend our Democratic majority. Split a contribution of $10 or more between their campaigns today:
