Email from English Democrats PRESS RELEASE   PRESS RELEASE Labour discriminating against English Pensioners The vast majority of people affected by the British Government’s withdrawal of the Winter Fuel Allowance will be poor white working class English pensioners, who are a group of people that the current Labour Party hates and wants gone. Indeed Labour even predicted two years ago that this policy would kill 4,000 such pensioners. This is a classic case of indirect discrimination. Labour’s policy affects white English pensioners more than any other category of people with protected characteristics under the Equality Act and is therefore a breach of the Government’s Equality Act duties. The English Democrats will therefore be looking to help families of pensioners who die in their homes this winter from hypothermia to bring claims on behalf of their dead relative for substantial compensation against the British Government.
