Big news: Today, we’re endorsing 64 candidates running for state-level office across five of our priority states!
Our Democracy Defenders program does the leg work to determine which seats could have an outsized impact against Republican anti-democracy agendas across the country — so that you can make sure your dollars have the biggest impact this election season.

These 64 Democracy Defenders — from races in Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin — are dedicated to protecting the fundamental rights of the American people:
*
In
Arizona
,
Republicans
hold
just
a
two-seat
majority
in
both
the
State
House
and
Senate.
If
we
can
help
get
out
the
vote
and
win
a
majority
in
both
chambers,
we
can
build
power
that
can
be
used
to
strengthen
the
state’s
redistricting
process.
*
In
Michigan
,
we
have
the
opportunity
to
help
Democrats
keep
their
trifecta,
which
will
protect
the
state’s
redistricting
reform
and
allow
for
more
landmark
policies
to
protect
the
freedoms
of
Michiganders
statewide.
*
In
Minnesota
,
we’re
also
working
to
protect
this
state’s
Democratic
trifecta.
A
single
special
election
will
determine
control
of
the
Minnesota
State
Senate,
and
Republicans
only
need
to
flip
five
seats
in
the
House
to
regain
power
here.
*
In
New
Hampshire
,
Republicans
have
a
trifecta,
but
we
have
a
real
chance
to
flip
that
on
its
head.
Not
only
can
we
win
majorities
in
the
legislature,
where
Republicans
are
defending
tiny
majorities
—
now,
we’re
adding
the
governor’s
race
to
our
priority
list!
The
state
House
is
rated
a
toss-up
and
the
Senate
is
considered
to
be
within
reach.
If
they
hold
on
to
their
Republican
trifecta,
the
legislature
could
redraw
its
congressional
map
at
any
moment.
A
flip
here
is
critical
to
put
GOP
gerrymandering
to
rest.
*
In
Wisconsin
,
where
this
year
fair
legislative
maps
finally
became
a
reality,
we
have
a
chance
at
flipping
the
State
Assembly
—
our
best
shot
in
a
generation.
We
can
also
make
real
progress
in
the
State
Senate.
This
is
a
state
where
the
other
side
is
eager
to
roll
back
our
progress.
Let’s
fight
to
protect
it.
