Friend-
There will be buses and cars filled with Washington, DC and New York City moms heading to Pennsylvania, on Monday, Oct. 14, for a Moms & Care Canvass! So. Many. Moms!!!
Why are they going to PA? Because with 26 days until Election Day, it’s incredibly important to talk with Pennsylvania mom and family voters about care. They will also get to meet up with MomsRising ED Kristin, who has been traveling with the Women for Vice President Harris’ “We Choose Freedom” National Tour that’s stopping outside Philadelphia this coming Monday.
Want to hop on the bus for Pennsylvania too? Sign up to ride the bus for a powerful and fun Moms & Care Canvass on Monday, Oct. 14! (Location details will be shared by the organizers.)

Why Harris-Walz? In this moment, with just 26 days until Election Day, the choice we’ll make in November has never been more clear: In fact, did you know Vice President Harris and Governor Walz both support childcare, paid family and medical leave, and reproductive freedom -- and that Trump and Vance DON'T support those critically important policies?
Pennsylvania family voters need to know too. That’s why, on Monday, moms from Washington, DC and New York City are boarding Mom Buses and heading to the Keystone State to make sure they know! The more moms who go, the more voters they can reach. Please join! (Location details will be shared by the organizers.)

In VERY good news, Vice President Harris and Governor Walz have a strong track record of standing up for families and championing family economic security and health policies that get to solutions to the hurdles mentioned in the above paragraph and more – policy solutions which also lift our families, business, and the economy alike. They know solutions are possible. Now, we just need to elect them to get to our solutions ASAP.
The stakes have never been higher. Child care costs more than college, the US is the only industrialized nation without some form of paid family/medical leave for when a new baby arrives or serious health crisis strikes, aging and disability care is too often out of reach, care workers don’t earn living wages, and our daughters now have fewer reproductive freedoms than we’ve had. So, we urgently need to elect leaders like Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz with track records of advancing solutions in these areas ASAP.
These are just some of the many reasons why people are rising together for these two solution-oriented leaders, Vice President Harris and Governor Walz. Pennsylvania mom and family voters need to know these reasons and rise as well.
That’s why Monday’s Moms & Care Canvass outside Philadelphia is so important. Will you please join? (Location details will be shared by the organizers.)

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are addressing so many of the shared struggles of moms and parents in ways that research shows as highly effective. They’re advocating to pass a universal paid family/medical leave program like most other nations on the planet have already done; make childcare affordable; make eldercare and home- and community-based services accessible; ensure health care, including mental health care and reproductive healthcare, is available to all; and pay for it with a fair tax structure in which corporations and the very wealthy finally pay their fair share. Studies show that taking these steps lifts our economy, helps our businesses, opens the door for families to thrive, and helps close the wage gap between moms and non-moms.
So why haven't we, as a nation, taken these steps yet? We’ll be blunt. Republican leaders, including Trump and Vance have too long stood in the way of policies that are solutions to our shared crisis.
Impossible shouldn't be the norm. And the weight of impossibility shouldn't have to be carried across generations. We can—we must—do better. And we will when we vote for Vice President Harris and Governor Walz.
Can you tell we’re fired up? Get even more fired up by joining the Moms & Care Canvass in Pennsylvania on Monday!!
