I intend to support articles of impeachment for the corrupt right-wing politicians masquerading as justices on the United States Supreme Court.
It’s simple. The Supreme Court can no longer be trusted to uphold the Constitution.
Back in July, the Supreme Court ruled that presidents have full criminal immunity for all official acts.
If Donald Trump is reelected, this convicted felon, rapist, and twice-impeached former President will be able to do whatever the hell he wants.
It’s a scary day for American democracy.
And let’s be clear: this was not a ruling rooted in precedent or a sound understanding of the law and justice. This was a political decision to protect Donald Trump and help return him to the Oval Office.
This is an assault on democracy.
It was 248 years ago that we declared freedom from tyranny. We fought for a democracy with checks and balances — where no person was above the law. This decision is a dangerous step toward authoritarianism.
At this point, it is clear that the Supreme Court’s corruption crisis can only be put to an end by impeaching those who have bent and broken the institution for their political gain.
