The 2020 Industrial Stormwater (ISW) General Permit expires on March 31, 2025, and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Industrial Stormwater Program has been developing the 2025 permit. The 2025 ISW General Permit is now drafted and the MPCA will be holding two informational meetings to go over the major updates.
The ISW Program would like to invite you to attend an informational virtual meeting to learn about the proposed changes in the 2025 permit. The MPCA is offering two events, which are taking place on October 17, 2024, at 2pm and October 30, 2024, at 10am via Webex. Both of these meetings will be covering the same topics. These meetings are not part of the formal public comment period for the 2025 permit. The public comment period will be communicated to stakeholders when available.

The online eServices application service is not available for the 2025 permit due to necessary system updates. Please do not attempt to apply for coverage under the 2025 permit at this time. Once the system is ready to accept applications, it will be communicated through our Industrial Stormwater Newsletter, our website, and by email to our permittees.
