I wanted to share some fantastic news about our #GivingTuesdayNow appeal. Together, we raised an incredible £10,100!
I am delighted to say that Womankind staff are working to distribute these funds directly to our partners in Africa and Asia in the coming days.
To all who donated, I would like to offer a huge THANK YOU on behalf of Womankind and our partners. As result of your generosity and solidarity with local women’s rights organisations, partners can continue emergency work such as;
Purchasing PPE kits (including gloves, masks, hand sanitiser and portable hand wash containers with soap)
Creating, printing and distributing lifesaving health information to women and girls excluded from local relief efforts and
Funding vital domestic violence hotlines for women and girls currently at risk.
