One of my best friends got married this week. She is 31, like me, and boy, have we been praying about this for a long time! Our God is so faithful and truly writes the best love stories. I’m so encouraged by her walk with the Lord, her dependence on Him, and just how His loving kindness shows through her story.

I hope you find encouragement today ??? whether it is seeing the faith of a friend, a coworker offering you kindness, or just something you read online. I also hope you get a chance to encourage someone else. If you haven’t already, offer encouragement to your pastors ??? October is Clergy Appreciation Month, after all! If you need ideas of how to do that, read Lindsay’s blog post from last week.

Likewise, I pray you are encouraged by this Scripture: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
