→ Rep. Rob Wittman of Montross, a Republican, is seeking his ninth full term
as Virginia’s 1st Congressional District representative. Stopping by the

→ Editor, Gazette-Journal:
"Who to vote for Congress? Rob Wittman, the incumbent, or his opponent, Leslie
Mehta? I’ve met Wittman often over the years and know his record. I’ve not met
Mehta, so I looked up her website and to be fair, Wittman’s also. Comparing
these two sources, what do I learn?.."

→ Editor, Gazette-Journal:
"As I’ve traveled Middlesex County putting up yard signs for Trump, Cao and
Wittman, I am asked one question over and over and over again from the people I
come in contact with: “How in the world can anyone vote for this woman?” They
bring up the fact that Kamala Harris is letting millions of lawbreakers into
our country with no vetting and then providing them free education, free
housing, and free healthcare to the detriment of our citizens—and more
importantly, our babies and grand babies. We are paying for it—using our
dollars that should be going to our children, other needy Americans and our
veterans. People are astounded her supporters approve..."

→ We are proud to champion such efforts in the Suburban Caucus. This includes
Rep. Wittman's Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow's Workforce Act, which would
broaden the scope of qualified expenses under 529 savings plans, allowing these
funds to cover the costs of post-secondary training and credentialing,
including licenses and nongovernmental certifications. By providing
tax-advantaged resources to families, students, and workers, we can help more
Americans obtain and retain good-paying jobs that don't require a traditional
college degree.
