Extreme MAGA Republicans have repeatedly and falsely claimed that the 2016, 2018, and 2020 elections were “stolen.” And they’re already laying the groundwork in must-win swing states to try to prevent certification of vote totals in the 2024 election.

Extensive research, including a Trump administration study, shows most fraud claims are baseless. Voter impersonation is nearly nonexistent, and many alleged fraud cases are simple mistakes. This is also true for mail-in ballots, which are secure and essential for holding a fair election.

But at least 35 current county election officials have a record of voting against certification. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we stand up for the integrity of our elections.
