John, before I ask for your support for my re-election campaign, I want to share a personal story.

Growing up, I was raised by a single mother in a mobile home park. I watched my mom work hard and complete her teaching degree over nine years — all while raising three kids. She taught me what grit and determination looked like.

It was that same grit and determination I learned from her that got me through college while working two jobs. It helped me work my way up over 20 years in business.

Years later, these experiences helped me shake off the dust and run again after I lost my first race to represent MN-02 in 2016. If I had given up, I never would have won in 2018 — or been able to help cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month for seniors on Medicare, lower everyday costs for Minnesotans and more.

Now, I'm ready to build on all our progress with the same determination that's carried me through since the beginning. I know this grassroots team is just as determined to help me defeat my anti-abortion opponent in a race that The Hill reports could help determine the presidency.
