VIDEO OF THE DAY: Podcast host laughs in Trump's face over blatant lie
We all know why the MAGA cult leader surrounds himself with yes men and sycophants. It's so that he will never be held to account for the utter insanity he spews on a daily basis. But every once in a while, there's a chink in the armor, and Trump is left contending with someone — inadvertently or not — who lets the truth slip out. Enter internet bro, podcaster, and comedian Andrew Schultz, who simply could not contain his laughter when the convicted felon described himself as a "truthful person." Roll the tape.

New York Times ridiculed for framing on Trump's wildly racist eugenics remarks as intellectual curiosity
Donald J. Trump is a racist. Full stop. The man has uttered enough wildly offensive, aggressively xenophobic invectives over the years to make a Klansman blush through his hood. Case in point: earlier this week the adjudicated rapist went on a tired, familiar rant about migrants bringing their "bad genes" across the border. Ya know, eugenics! Or, apparently, if you're writing copy for The New York Times, the disgraced ex-president was merely invoking "his long-held fascination with genes and genetics." What the f*ck are we doing here?

Progressive group cracks the code to breaking Trump’s coalition
Stand Up For Racial Justice: We all know Trump’s base of low-propensity white voters is the key to him getting back into the White House and installing the dictatorship he so desperately wants. Showing Up For Racial Justice is holding a webinar to explain just how we can do that. Join us TONIGHT for a conversation with best-selling NYT author Heather McGhee about white people’s stake in fighting MAGA and learn how YOU can help us win in November!
Kari Lake repeatedly says she wants to protect "UVF" in Arizona Senate debate
Failed gubernatorial hopeful and Trump-endorsed MAGA dolt Kari Lake has had a difficult go of things in the race for Arizona's open Senate seat against Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego. During last night's debate, Lake repeatedly referred to in vitro fertilization (IVF) as "UVF," showing her, um, stunning command of an issue that matters quite a lot to voters who don't want the federal government telling them what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Lake, like so many Republicans, has flip-flopped on reproductive freedom this election season doing her damnedest to distance herself from her very recent past support of draconian bans on both IVF and abortion, including Arizona’s century-old abortion ban that had zero exceptions for rape or incest. Hey Kari, what does the "U" stand for? Uninformed?

Trump refuses Fox News' offer to host second debate with Kamala Harris
The MAGA cult leader turned down his own allies at Fox News after the propaganda network offered to host a second presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Harris, thumb-smashing on his social media platform, "THERE WILL BE NO REMATCH." The con man, who by basically all accounts was convincingly beaten by Harris in their first meeting last month, clearly wants no part of another round and is obviously content firing off petty grievances and sophomoric broadsides from swing-state rally stages. On Wednesday, the disgraced ex-president took potshots at a number of prominent Democratic women before assuring the MAGA faithful that, despite the obvious sexism regularly on display, women like him anyway. Very presidential stuff.

Georgia environmental official Johnson collapses and dies after testifying about toxic BioLab fire
Kenny Johnson, 62, the Rockdale County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor, died Tuesday after collapsing near the Georgia State Capitol during a public meeting discussing the chemical plume resulting from the BioLab fire on September 29. The meeting focused on the effects of the BioLab facility fire in Conyers on the local community. The fire produced a significant hazardous plume over Rockdale County and parts of metro Atlanta, leading to evacuation and shelter-in-place orders, which remain in place for some residents. “As a representative for the Soil and Water Conservation District, Johnson delivered a powerful testimony during the chemical fire public hearing. He complained of shortness of breath and subsequently collapsed in the hallway outside room 606. State Rep. Viola Davis, a nurse by profession, administered CPR while medical professionals were summoned,” reads part of a statement from the Georgia House Democratic Caucus. After collapsing, Johnson — who called the chemical fire an "environmental disaster" — was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

Tim Walz rally goes live on World of Warcraft Twitch stream
Bear with us if most of these words sound like gibberish to you, but we promise it's important. In an unprecedented effort to reach out to young male voters, Kamala Harris’ campaign livestreamed a Tim Walz rally from Arizona AND Azeroth last night. Azeroth, you might be curious to know, is the planet from the mega-popular, massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft, and the footage of the rally aired in tandem alongside Twitch streamer "Preheat" playing the newest expansion of the game. Yes, both events on the same screen. We're told this is the way that attention-span-deficient zoomers like it. It is a historic moment in modern political campaigning that showcases the Harris campaign's dedication to reaching out to ALL potential voters and their unheard-of intergenerational savvy.
